Yglesias started a music thread on his Blog that I think is both cool and appropriate give the release of the iPod shuffle. Basically, Matt asks everyone to pull up their music collection - hit shuffle - and then see what the first 10 songs that come up are. Wanna try it?
Song - Artist
Panther Dash - The Go! Team
Everything Hits at Once - Spoon
This Place is a Prison - The Postal Service
Dreamer in My Dreams - Wilco
Embraceable You - Charlie Parker
Queen Bitch - David Bowie
Sheena is a Punk Rocker - The Ramones
The Contenders - The Kinks
Debate Exposes Doubt - Death Cab for Cutie
Never Follow - Naked Raygun
I personally like the ‘Never Follow’ end of the set. Nothing like a little agreesive Chicago punk to get you all riled up in the A.M. Also, this set has that weird ‘revival/mod/glam/classic punk’ thing tha I’ve been such a zealot about for the past couple of months. I think it’s funny that ‘Queen Bitch’ comes up because I’ve been on a little Bowie kick lately AND that tune is featured in ‘Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou.’

This is a test of the comment posting system. This is only a test. If this was a real comment, witticism and hilarity would ensue. I repeat this is only a test.
