Listen, if you’re Daunte Culpepper and you’re called by Bill Belichek on Monday – you get on the first plane to Boston. Granted, he’s not the same player he was – he never will be. But, you put him on that team with Moss…and well, I think he could be a standout.
Kind of amazed the Bears are winning right now. 2nd quarter 12-6.

ummm….i’m kind of amazed that the Bears won 29-16!!! if you would’ve told me the Bears were going to score 29 points on the road vs. Indy before the game, i would’ve called you crazy.
BUT, it’s games like this one that make the NFL awesome. any given sunday…
next up: Carolina
they just took out SD on the road and it will be a tough game for the Bears next weekend. looking forward to seeing how the Bears follow up this victory.

I’d like to be the first to welcome Bean Town back to Earth. Hope they enjoy feeling like mere mortals again.

Posted 08 Sep 2008 at 7:43 am ¶the dynasty is officially over, as of last year…
And I’d like to personally thank Reggie Wayne for his efforts in a losing cause last night, I needed that to make the Dr. sweat it out tonight…

Peterson is the man.
Bears O looked damn good. It made me think that Turner knows what he is doing.
Posted 08 Sep 2008 at 12:52 pm ¶The Bears O looked good and Orton looked solid. Very calm and confident. Not Grossmanesque at all. A good thing.
But — and not to take anything away from the Bears’ performance — the Indianapolis O was terrible. Manning was rusty and looked, well, like Rex Grossman at times. Jeff Saturday’s backup couldn’t handle the Chicago rush, leaving all kinds of gaps. The running game was a joke.
Very, very frustrating.

I’ll bet he’ll have a fun week of practice when no one blocks for him…
Posted 08 Sep 2008 at 3:20 pm ¶You think you have it bad try watching that Rams game.
Posted 08 Sep 2008 at 4:28 pm ¶Yeah – we were watching it (rooting for the Eagles, sorry) and they looked terrible.
